Tell us about your favourite day as an agent in 2023:

Heather: My favourite day of real estate was the day one of my clients took possession of her new home. She moved from a different province to be close to her family and it took some time to sell her home; she lost out on many, many potential properties that she wanted. Finally, her house sold and we found the perfect home, better than any that she had wanted before and close enough for the grandchildren to come over for lunch from school. A true “say yes to the dress” moment and she can now enjoy time with her daughter and grandchildren.

Jill: My favourite day was when I turned the keys over to my son and his fiancé! They worked so hard to save a down payment and we ended up finding them a house that was even better than they imagined. They were trusting and quick when I found the house as I knew it was slightly undervalued. We wrote an offer an hour after it hit the market (the first day they were really looking) and they now live in their dream home! I honestly really like my job most days, but that day was my favourite this year.

Kristen: My favourite day as an agent in 2023 was when I got to hand the keys over to my best friend and his boyfriend on their first home! It was hard work leading up to it but once we found the place and they could see their renovation dreams come to life, it was so rewarding.

John: My favourite transaction in 2023 was finding and selling the perfect house with a full downstairs suite to two families who wanted to move in together (parents and son’s family). This only occurred by selling their two properties and the deals aligned perfectly!
