This year’s Winterfest was a big hit, bringing folks from all over to celebrate the season and enjoy some community spirit. And guess who was there to welcome everyone with open arms? Heather, John, and Tash from the Avenues to Acreages Team. They were like the friendly faces you always hope to see at events like these – ready to chat, answer questions, and make everyone feel right at home.

But they didn’t stop there. Oh no. Heather, John, and Tash had a surprise up their sleeves – or rather, in their pockets. They were handing out s’mores kits to everyone who came by! I mean, who doesn’t love a gooey, chocolatey treat on a cold winter day? It was the perfect way to warm up and get into the spirit of the event.

As the day came to an end and folks started heading home, there was a sense of warmth and camaraderie that lingered in the air. Winterfest 2024 had brought people together in the best possible way, reminding everyone what it means to be part of a tight-knit community like Lakewood.
